  1. What kind of camera do you have? Those pics are beautiful (as is the baby)! We have a Nikon…something. That is my hubby’s realm, but I do enjoy using it.

    • THANK YOU! I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS. I love it, though I wish we would have sprung for the model with video (since it’s the one that works with a wireless remote).

These photos came out MUCH better than expected, as it was a nasty rainy day out with NO light. It actually looks kinda sunny in my house. Pure camera trickery, ha :-)

  2. Awwww love it! I showed Max the picture of her taking meds, and I said look babyyyyyyy. His face lit up big time, and then he talked to her picture! I think he likes her! :)

    • AWWWW I cannot wait till Alexa responds to other babies like that! Sooo sweet. Now they’re destined for one another :-) She’s way into his new sweet ride!

  3. I don’t know why I noticed it, but her tiny fingernails in the puffs picture are so precious.

    • I noticed too, and completely agree. There’s something impossibly sweet about baby hands (even if they’re getting big enough to almost be toddler hands!).

  4. I love you photos! Alexa is such a cutie :) I have a very messy baby too!!!

    • My living room is in a constant state of disarray! There’s almost no point in cleaning it up until the end of the night. We have a playroom too, I just like hanging in the front room better. Maybe we’ll use it when she’s big enough for more independent play :-)

      • Ha ha ha… yep constant state of disarray!!! Arghh! I do 2 tidy-ups… one just before Chris gets home so that he doesn’t trip and break his neck as he walks in the door and one when Max has gone to bed, so we have our lounge room back for at least a few hours! We have no playroom :(
        .-= Lx´s last blog ..Jumping =-.

        • Our playroom is really just a dining room that we never eat in so I have half of it done up with toy storage and whatnot :-) Seemed like a good idea, but we never use it. Maybe once Alexa is big enough to really play by herself (or with friends!).

  5. I love that she’s a blur of motion in your living room! Isn’t that always the way? Also, your paint colors rock.

    • She NEVER stops moving! Thanks for the compliment on the colors, my house is like a bag of easter skittles :-)

  6. Just sitting here inhaling the beauty of your photos!

    • Sorry I missed your comment before, it got caught in my Spam filter :-(
Thank you for the compliment. BTW Alexa is doing much better…no more cold!

  8. Loving these photos! And your captions – “Messy Baby” – indeed ;o)

    • Could have just as easily called it Lazy Mom, lol!

  9. These are so GORGEOUS! I wish I was as camera savvy as you. We bought a Nikon several months ago and I have yet take out of “auto”. (sigh)
.-= Formerly Gracie´s last blog ..Deeper into the Crevasse =-.

    • Oh I’m really not that savy. I tend to keep it on one setting, it’s just that I like a certain look :-) It probably helped that I learned on a regular film camera, so I had to take notes!
